Running For Trustee Of Tinley Park, IL
William P. Brady has proudly served as a Tinley Park Village Trustee since his initial election in April 2017. A long-time resident and active member of the Tinley Park community, Trustee Brady has been a steadfast advocate for responsible governance, community engagement, and public safety. He currently serves as Chairperson of the Administration and Legal Committee and is the Village Board Liaison to both the Civil Service Commission and the Sister Cities Commission.
A Tinley Park resident since 1992, Trustee Brady and his wife, Bette, have raised their two children, Sean and Megan, both graduates of Andrew High School. A successful entrepreneur, Trustee Brady owned and operated a business in Oak Lawn for over 33 years before his retirement. Following his career, he continued his commitment to serving others by working in the Orland Township Senior Services Department, assisting with transportation, meal services, and other senior support programs.
In addition to his role on the Village Board, Trustee Brady has devoted his life to community service and leadership. He remains an active volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America, supporting youth development and leadership programs. Trustee Brady is also a certified instructor for the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, teaching hunting and boating safety courses, and serves as a vessel safety inspector for the United States Power Squadrons.
A deeply rooted member of the Tinley Park community, Trustee Brady and his wife are active parishioners of St. Stephen Deacon and Martyr Catholic Church, where they serve as Eucharistic ministers and participate in various church activities. He is also a graduate of both the Citizens Police Academy and the Citizens Fire Academy, reflecting his commitment to supporting public safety initiatives in Tinley Park.
Through his multifaceted career and extensive community involvement, Trustee Brady embodies the spirit of public service. He has consistently championed initiatives to enhance the quality of life for Tinley Park residents, including public safety improvements, senior services, and fostering community partnerships through his work with the Sister Cities Commission.
As Trustee Brady seeks re-election in 2025, his focus remains on maintaining fiscal responsibility, ensuring effective governance, and fostering a vibrant and inclusive community for all Tinley Park residents.
