Colleen Sullivan has proudly served as a Trustee for the Village of Tinley Park since her election in 2021 and is now running for re-election in April 2025. During her tenure, she has demonstrated unwavering dedication to the community through her leadership roles, serving two years as Chair of the Finance Committee (2021-2023) and the last two years as Chair of the Marketing Committee. She also proudly serves as the liaison to the Veterans Commission since 2021.
A graduate of Rasmussen College with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Information Technology, Colleen brings over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry and a solid background in finance. She is also a published author, having written two children’s books.
Colleen has called Tinley Park home since 1995, drawn to its outstanding schools and thriving community. She has raised her three daughters in the village, all of whom attended KSD140 and D230 schools. Over the years, she has remained deeply involved in community service, volunteering at school events, and co-founding the Tinley Park Citizen Volunteer Committee, which provided essential support to at-risk residents during the coronavirus pandemic.
Colleen’s priorities as Trustee include encouraging responsible development, maintaining public safety, and revitalizing key areas such as downtown Tinley Park and the 159 th / Harlem corridor. She is committed to ensuring Tinley Park remains a vibrant, safe, and welcoming community for current and future generations.
As she seeks re-election in 2025, Colleen looks forward to continuing her partnership with residents, businesses, and local organizations to advance the village’s success and strengthen its sense of community.
